A habit is quite easy to acquire and grows on us really unknowingly. However, once we tend to acquire a bad habit like say smoking, drinking or eating too much, it takes a while to get rid of it. Therefore, it is a good idea to establish good habits and then hold on to them to be able to lead a life that is really fruitful.

As a rule, we choose to develop bush beans as opposed to pole beans. I cannot make up my mind whether or not this is from sheer laziness. In the city backyard the tall types might perhaps be a problem since it would be hard to have poles. But these running beans is usually trained along old fences and with small urging will run up the stalks on the tallest sunflowers. Making sure that settles the pole question. There is an ornamental side on the bean question. Suppose you plant these tall beans at the extreme rear finish of each and every vegetable row. Make arches with supple tree limbs, binding them over to form the arch. Train the beans around these. When one stands facing the garden, what a stunning terminus these bean arches make.
