Type 2 diabetes mellitus is a disease that affects roughly 90%-95% of all people who have diabetes. Type 2 Diabetes is also known as non-insulin dependent diabetes because you do not need to take daily insulin shots to control it. Type 2 Diabetes can be easily managed by doing several things in your normal daily routine such as watching your diet, eating at the same time every day, and doing some type of exercise several times a week. Just keep in mind that you must take control of your non-insulin dependent diabetes and don’t let it take control of you.

Diabetes mellitus is a disease that many people today suffer from. There are several different types of diabetes ranging from Type 1 (juvenile), Type 2, and Type 3 (gestational). Type 1 is the insulin dependant type of diabetes while Type 2 can be managed with medication and is usually found in middle aged people. Type 3 is the type you are born with but most children will quickly outgrow this problem. There are many ways of managing diabetes and both doctor and home remedies when it comes to controlling diabetes as well.

Insulin is the hormone that allows sugar to enter your blood stream and then allows the cells to change it into energy for the rest of your body. It means that the level of your body’s insulin is adequate which can be found by testing your blood; it can also affect your body by being thirst, hunger, or loss weight. There are two stages of diabetes: Type 1 Diabetes and Type 2 Diabetes. There are certain precautions that need to be taken when you have Diabetes mellitus. You need know what category you are placed under: Type 1 Diabetes or Type 2 Diabetes. You will need to understand there are things that need to be done to your body to keep this condition under control.
